Formed in Brighton, England in 2012, As It Is built their name on big, melodic pop-punk and emo-leaning rock that wears its heart on its sleeve, fronted by Patty Walters alongside Ben Biss, Ali Testo and Patrick Foley. The band became the first UK act ever signed to Fearless Records, releasing three studio albums - Never Happy, Ever After (2015), okay. (2017) and The Great Depression (2018) - and playing on the Vans Warped Tour twice, as well as becoming draws at prestigious festivals such as Download, Reading & Leeds and Slam Dunk.

After a period apart and a hiatus in 2022, As It Is’ best-known line-up of Walters, Biss, Testo and Foley reunited in 2024 - picking back up a friendship and creative partnership spanning over a decade. They marked the return with Never Happy, Ever After X, a reimagined version of their debut album featuring guest artists including Holding Absence, Kellin Quinn and Sum41, before heading straight back to festival stages for Slam Dunk Festival and Vans Warped Tour in 2025.

Signing with FLG and Notting Hill Music Publishing, the band then released their first new material in seven years with ‘Lose Your Way & Find Yourself’, followed by singles ‘Ruin My Life’, ‘Marilyn’ and ‘Do You Remember?’- a clear signal that this reunion was built to last.

That run of new music leads into As It Is, the band’s new self-titled album, out 17 July 2026 — the first body of work written and recorded by Walters, Biss, Testo and Foley together as a full band in eight years. Made with producer Kel Pinchin at the Ranch Production House in Southampton, it’s a record built on honesty, brotherhood and the simple joy of making music together again. With the album landing alongside this tour, audiences can expect a setlist that spans the whole catalogue — old favourites delivered with new life, and new songs that already feel like they’ve always been there.
